1n 2004 we undertook repair works to the external envelope of this landmark Georgian Building. This included roof works, brick re-pointing and window refurbishment. This project required the extensive refurbishment of the 4-storey facade which involved replacing brick panels, building in ‘specials’, brick refacing and extensive repointing. To the rear an Ashlar Lime render was applied and lined.
Lissadell also removed and carried out repairs to traditional timber sash windows within our temporary on site work-shop before reinstalling them complete with new ropes and weights and pulleys. Works to the roof involved the complete strip and re-slate of the entire roof, removal and replacement of existing lead valleys as well as some structural interventions to chimneys and parapets.
